You are invited to a lyrical night of intimate song and word featuring Sora with special guest, spoken word artist, Erin Dingle.
Sora is a World/Celtic singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose soaring voice and poetic lyrics have garnered her international acclaim. She is known for her engaging stories, both mythic and modern and her haunting transcendent voice. Sora's 3rd studio album, Scorpion Moon (2013) charted on community radio stations across North America and was nominated for a 2013 Canadian Folk Music Award in the Solo World Artist category.
Erin Dingle is a spoken word artist whose emotionally vulnerable poetry has landed her on the Calgary poetry SLAM team for multiple years. She is the 2013 Calgary Poetry slam champion and has performed and competed at festivals and events across Canada. Erin is known for her energetic raw honesty within her performances and within her written poetry. Erin has released 2 chapbooks, "Static" and "Conte" and USB album. Erin is also a board member for Calgary's Single Onion Poetry Group and the InkSpot Collective.
