Celebrate Earth Hour at Good Earth Coffeehouse & Bakery- Crowfoot Don’t Stay Home in the Dark! Join Us For Coffee by Candle Light!
March 23, 2013 - Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery- Crowfoot, an environmentally responsible coffeehouse, will be hosting an event to celebrate Earth Hour this Saturday, March 23 starting at 8:00pm.
The lights will be turned off and candles will be lit from 8:30-9:30pm in support of Earth Hour. Live music will be played by (Sora) during the event. Proceeds from sales during Earth Hour will be donated to The Nature Conservancy Canada (NCC). NCC is the nation’s leading private land conservation organization, working to protect our natural areas and the plants and animals they sustain.
Earth Hour is celebrated world-wide with more than 5,200 cities and towns in 135 countries switching off their lights sending a powerful message for action on climate change. “Since 1991, Good Earth has made environmental responsibility a part of its mission.
